Sprint.com updates and ongoing issues

These items were updated on sprint.com last week, although certain people may still be having intermittent problems:

 

  • Links to adding a phone should be working now.
  • You should now see options to change your plan and add or remove services. Some people have been missing these options.
  • Nextel users selecting “navigation” should correctly see the Telenav service now.
  • Business customers should be able to view Electronic Billing and Analysis (EBA) now.
  • Links in the footer section should all be working properly.
  • Additional improvements are planned for this week.

 

We apologize for any problems you’ve been experiencing on sprint.com. Our technical teams continue to work around the clock to correct any remaining issues. If you continue to have problems, remember that you can:

 

  • Dial *3 for payments
  • Dial *4 for usage and account balance information
  • Use Google and Facebook Widgets for payments, usage, account balance  (search for the My Sprint Widget on Google or Facebook)

I can access  sprint.com, but the text alignment looks weird, pages are not displaying, and/or blank pages are being displayed

If you are using Firefox or Chrome, please ensure third party cookies are accepted.  If they are not accepted, you will either get an error page or your browser will report display a gray internal error page, with text that says 'cannot contact server' or 'redirecting in a way that will never resolve'.

Firefox - follow these steps, but ensure 'Accept Third Party Cookies' is checked.

    I can't find the My Online Tools section

    • My Online Tools has been replaced by the following in My Sprint:
      • My account - This tab includes everything about your usage and billing.
      • My device and media - This tab includes info about your phone, its services, and apps and digital media.
      • My preferences - This tab lets you set and edit passcodes, passwords, email addresses and much more.

    How can I manage multiple accounts that belong to me?

    • You can manage multiple accounts on the My preferences tab > All about my accountUpdate or add another account.
    • You can also click the down arrow next to your username:
      • This is located at the top right of the page, near the Sign in/Sign out box.
      • A new box will displayed with an Account field.  You can select the drop down arrow for the Account field to display and select other accounts.

    How do I add or remove accounts from my profile?

    Add or remove accounts on the My preferences tab > All about my account > Update or add another account.

     

      How do I opt in or opt out for Premium Content (app and digital media downloads)?

      This is now available on the My preferences tab > All about my account > Limits & permissions > Block digital media downloads.

       

      NOTE: This link is intermittently unavailable. A solution is being developed.

       

        How do I block text messages?

        This is available under My device and media > Messaging on the row of tiles > Block texts.

         

          Where is Sprint Family Locator?

          This is available under My device and media > Family Locator on the row of tiles.

          How do I get to Picture Mail?

          This is available under My device & media -> Photos on the row of tiles. All the picture options for you phone display here. Picture Mail is in the right hand portion of the screen if it works with your phone.

           

          You can also go directly to your PictureMail account at www.sprint.com/picturemail

          The link for Integrated Office isn't working

          That link isn't working yet, but you can go  directly to http://io.sprintpcs.com

          How can I purchase premium content like ringers and games?

            • Available in the Digital Lounge tab -> top menu. If your phone uses a different method of getting apps and digital media, you'll see a message telling you more.
            • You can also get to it in My device & media > My media and apps in the row of tiles.
            • NOTE: Some customers are reporting error messages with purchasing digital media and apps. The site is indicating they are not registered for purchasing. Unfortunately there is no workaround yet, but the solution is in development.

            The GPS Navigator link isn't working

            That link isn't working yet, but you can go directly towww.sprint.com/navigation.

            How do I get to Sprint Mobile Sync

            • For your own phone, this is available on My device & media > Contacts on the row of tiles.
            • For administrator-level contact management, go to My preferencesThings I can manage online.

            The Sprint Mobile Locator link isn't working

            That link isn't working yet, but you can go directly to www.sprint.com/mobilelocator.

            How do I access GPS Consent?

            This link is currently unavailable and a solution is in development.

             

              How do I get to the GPS Privacy Manager?

              • This link is available for your individual phone, but not at the administrator level.
              • It is located on the My Preferences tab > All about my account > Things you can manage  online.

              I can't find my Nextel Address Book

              You can access the Nextel Address Book this way:
              1. Go to My device & media.
              2. Paste the following URL to Nextel Address Book in your browser's address bar:

              NOTE: Some people are intermittently not able to access this link.

               

               

              The following issues are occurring sporadically for a few users and are under investigation:

               

              • Registering for sprint.com access fails
              • Being prompted to create a PIN when you already have one
              • Changing your email address doesn't work
