• Airave, embedded modules (netbooks), 4G Single Mode, and r765IS devices are not eligible for equipment protection coverage (see complete list below).
• Coverage is effective on the date of enrollment.
• TEP, ERP, ESRP are applied at the line (subscription) level so whatever device is active on that line on the date of loss is covered.

• TEP combines ERP and ESRP.
  • Sprint or Nextel phones, smart devices, or connection cards are:
    • Replaced quickly and easily by filing a claim if lost, stolen, or physically damage beyond economical repair including liquid, fire or lightning damage.
      • Claims must be made no later then 60 days from date of issue.
      • Claims made later then 60 days from date of issue will be denied.
    • Repaired or replaced in a Sprint Phone Repair Center for failure from normal wear and tear, and mechanical or electrical failure, and routine phone maintenance.
  • TEP is $8.00 per month per line of service.
  • TEP can be added at new phone activation, upgrade, and ESN swap within 30 days.
  • There is a $50.00 or $100.00 non-refundable deductible based on phone model per approved claim for lost or stolen phones, or phones with physical or liquid damage. Use http://www.phoneclaim.com/sprint-deductible to determine the deductable amount for your device.
  • Claims for devices lost, stolen, physically or liquid damaged prior to adding TEP will be denied.
  • You can have up to 3 replacements in any consecutive 12-month period with a maximum replacement value of $1000.00 per claim.
  • The replacement equipment may be new or remanufactured and of a comparable model.
  • Coverage can be cancelled at any time and you’ll receive a pro-rated credit for the unused premium.

• ERP replaces the device if it is lost, stolen, physically or liquid damaged, including fire or lightning damage by filing a claim.
  • Price - $5.00 per month per line of service when purchased as single product.
  • Non-refundable deductible - $50.00 or $100.00 based on the device.
  • ERP is administered by Asurion.
  • A maximum of 3 ERP replacements allowed in any consecutive 12-month period.
    • Replacement equipment may be reconditioned of the same make and model or comparable to the device being replaced. Specialty phones are always replaced with comparable phones.
  • Damaged phone must be returned to Asurion within 15 days.
  • After claim is approved, replacement ships next day.

• ESRP repairs or replaces for failure from normal wear and tear, mechanical or electrical problems, and routine phone maintenance, in a Sprint Phone Repair Center.
  • Price - $4.00 per month per line of service when purchased as single product.
  • Non-refundable deductible - Customer does not file a claim and there are no deductibles.
  • Customers are eligible to upgrade to TEP from ESRP at new phone activation, ESN swap, or upgrade within 30 days of new phone activation or at time of paid repair or replacement.
    • Replacement equipment may be reconditioned of the same make and model or comparable to the device being replaced. Specialty phones are always replaced with comparable phones.
  • Cosmetic damage is not covered because it does not cause failure of phone to operate.

• The following devices are not covered by TEP or its component programs:
  • Limited Edition, Boost, MVNO models, 4G Single Mode (4G Only) and select GSM devices.
  • CDMA specialty and limited edition phones:
    • All GSM phones (Motorola V3, V50, V551, V555; Nokia 3120, 3310, 6630; Samsung IP-830w, IPA790), Telematics, Virgin Mobile Phones, and Beyonce B’Phone,Sprint 4G Desktop Modem, Sprint 4G USB U1901
  • iDEN specialty and limited phones:
    • Boost Mobile phones, Limited Edition i90 Clear, i90 Pearl, i90se, i90 Phat Farm, i90 Baby Phat, i95b, i95c, i99cl Bobby Jones, i733 Bloomingdales, i733 Phat Farm II, i736 NASCAR Cup / Driver Phones, and i833 Baby Phat II, r765IS
  • All embedded (Netbooks), Notebooks, and Tablets are not covered.
