I just got an AWOL today at work because my alarm refused to go off like it has its own life and does what it wants when it pleases. for anyone having this issue, if you bring it to a store which has a cellebrite machine for transferring contacts.. if they innitiate a contact transfer it will unlock the phone automatically and you can then go into the settings menu and reset the factory settings.  You must unplug the instinct from the cellebrite before it finishes the phonebook transfer because that will cause the phone to powercycle and the

Here's the fix I used on my brother's phone: Took the facebook icon off my phone using qpst  shared/filestore/icons  and copied them to my computer ( drag and drop ). then hooked his phone up to qpst and replaced his faulted icon with mine...anyone know what i'm talkin about, here's the icon, and if your phone is doing this too...here you go Cheers If you don't know what I'm talking about, don't bother attempting.

I have been having the same problem with my 700p using the live radio feature on NFL Mobile. Hey guys.  I was walking out of bestbuy yesterday when for some odd reason my touchscreen decided it did not want to work anymore.  It was deafault to one section of the menu bar at the screen.  if i hit the first button (favorites) it go to favorites then pop right back to the (fun) icon.  no matter what i hit..  it goes back to the fun icon.  I took it in yesterday and they got it working for about 2 hours..

What support are you hoping for?   As far as I can tell, you can press your bluetooth button to pull up voice command, and after the lady sais " say a command " you can say " send text to " whomever is on your contact list, then you can type your message and send it.  That's it as far as the support goes.   Speech to text would be nice since we have voice recognition already, but that would take Real

My company uses the Lotus Notes email client, so I have to use Desktop Connector to access my work email. I have the EXACT same setup in my car, an Alpine ida-X100 headunit and the Alpine KCE-350BT bluetooth module.  I am able to get my phone to pair up with my headunit, but it's operation is quirky at best  My phone is able to transfer my address book, and I can occasionally use the voice dial feature.  The next time I power up the car, it's a 50-50 shot as to whether or not the radio and phone will still be paired

I just went thru this with mine.  I took it to sprint and they reset my phone but by the time I got half way home it was doing the same thing so I called the sprint store I just left and the tech said that I had the type of phone that has to be reset at least 4 times for it to work so I reset my phone 3 more times and it fixed the problem.

I think the phone itself has a GPS location option under settings, general, location "on". So that would work if the phone was lost or stolen I think. I had Loopt set for that option at first, "Always Refresh", but my location was always wrong and I don't think it updated either. Two of us in Houston with Instincts had the problem of incoming voicemails not being pushed out to the phone, as well as outgoing voicemails not being sent and remaining on the phone as pending messages.   This is probably the thread to ask and maybe Will or Sarah or any Rep can enlighten us a little, hopefully...   In the Web Menu are hidden icons for Stocks and Travel for the pocket express, and I'm wondering if anyone has heard of these features being added to our phones any time soon. The icons are already in the phone....something to look forward to...maybe?

If I understand what it is saying that it needs to reset the radio of the phone. Meaning the wireless radio in your phone that connects to the network. A simple shut down and start up of your phone should solve that. However everytime you update the prl it will ask you to reset the radio.

I think the issue is that the phone often freezes when you are about make a call.   This happens at least twice a week for me: I hold down power to unlock the phone, I quickly press the phone button and then the dialer. I would be surprised if anyone seriously plans to make income developing for this piece of toast...now that the Palm Pre is out, MR-6 is a sad joke, etc.   In my book, the real question of questions is whether Sprint will take Instinct and its OS to the next level later this year, if and when they release Instinct 2 (aka "Dash"). At this time there is not an option to set a text message tone for individual contacts, there is only the option to have a seperate ring tone for text messages. I have the SAME EXACT PROBLEM!!!! I have now switched my INSTINCT for the 3rd time!!!! Not only does it just magically erase my call history randomly, it has now also start erasing my text messages!!!! I have this same problem with my phone and I haven't found a solution yet. Sometimes, I can shut down and restart my phone to get my texting to speed up, but it's only a temporary fix and it doesn't always help.

DCIM is just for Images, Just add a folder named "music" (all lowercase) It will find it. It's odd your's isn't formating your card and adding the folders it needs.
