I got the HD and charged it over night and decided to check out the camera. The battery was fully charged and I took 5 pictures and the battery drained down to 50% in less than 2 min. Before the update I had 225 songs on a 2gig card that worked perfect. I upgraded then I couldn't load my songs with the error message. I've tried every thing. DELETED all songs and re entered them 25 at a time. That worked until I got to 205 then again it would not reload my music. Also now for no reason the phone radio will start to play . I just got my 3rd replacement Instinct M-800 and when the screen shuts down to go into standby mode it stops playing the nfl mobile live app and radio. I used this app last year and never had an issue. Now i have to set the phone display to never turn off to listen to the game but this kills the battery. Anyone know how to get around this problem? I got a chance this past weekend to put the GPS feature through a workout. Overall it worked great. However I have a few issues.   1. The directions/map are inaccurate for part of I-85 in NC, around exit 87 to 118. The GPS told me to take I-85 which really was Business 85 rather than the interstate. Check your bills carefully for your 1st month with the Samsung Instinct. I only had 6 days on my last bill but had 20 minutes of "call forwarding" charges. This is a feature I never use and after talking to 2 reps it was explained that the Visual Voicemail was being incorrectly billed. The charges were adjusted so check your bills carefully.

Hi guys, has anybody experienced problems with installing the media manager CD onto their computers with Windows Vista OS? I have been trying for a week now to access the Nascar application. Instinct does not allow you to use it as a modem in case you want to tether your laptop while on a trip. No way to disable the secondary modem NAI. For all that we pay for "Unlimited Data Access", we should be able to use it as a modem occasionally.

I have a few problems with my phone, seems to be software related. My bluetooth works fine for the telephone on the pioneer car stereo, but the bluetooth does not work. I can control the phone from the radio via bluetooth, but no sound. There are a lot of people having the same problem with the pioneer radios. The pioneer radio's are 1.2 bluetooth certified.

Does anyone have this problem? Go into the navigation and hit search and look for gas prices. Has anyone noticed that they are never the same? Earlier today I checked it and some station had gas at $3.73 a gallon. I checked it 2 minutes ago and back up to $3.89. When using a Bluetooth headset, the volume for the voice dialing prompts are indistinguishable. The words cannot be heard, even when the volume on both the Instinct and the Bluetooth headset is turned up to the max. If there is no surrounding noise, the voice prompts can be slightly heard. When using a Bluetooth during a call, the volume is a bit better, but it's still difficult to hear. Again, with volume at max.

When adding an address to my contacts there is a particular format that the Instince wants you to use. I have tried to follow their format but still cannot get it to accept the address without giving me an Invalid Address Format error. Thought I found the answer to the unbelievably stupid calendar on my S30 with it's 70 entry limit. Even my wife that only uses her's for PERSONAL events has filled her's up. I was at best buy and I was thinking of buying a cover for the instinct. The only one they had was one you put a spray on and the put it down. They highly recommened it but I was worried about it ruining the cover if it ever come off or if it will take away from the sensitivy of the touch screen. I was using the navigation wearing my Bluetooth headset when I received a voice mail notification, listened to the voice mail over the Bluetooth and then backed out of the voice mail to return to the nav. After that all of the nav voice prompts came over the Bluetooth. It was sweet while it lasted and worked very well. Too bad we have to rely on bugs in the phone to find out what it is really capable of doing.

I recently bought the instinct and I am very disappointed with the battery life. I dont watch movies, videos, etc. but still my battery dies after a few hours. I admit that I keep my phone on vibrate during the day, but that is still not a good enough reason for the battery to die. I just got my instinct today and I'm loving it. As far as I have seen, there is no way to sort contacts by last name. Instinct only sorts contacts by first name. Imagine if your phone book was sorted by first name! It would be unuseable! When I'm outside in my yard facing South or any direction, the GPS reports too weak a signal. Trees are a least 50 feet from where I am standing. Okay... For some reason when I try to register my name and email the phone just goes to 101% then never moves. I want to use my GPS and for what ever reason I'm just not able to Register.   Does anyone know what I may need to do to fix this? Thanks ahead of time.

I was trying to listen to my music on my phone last night, but everytime I did the player would crash. I would try and play a different song while the another was playing and phone couldn't take it. After the initial creation of the Sprint Media Manager, any new photo files (jpegs)are not recognized by the program. All options are checked to have the manager refresh when the computor is turned on, and download all music, photo (jpegs and all), and video files. Even when I access the custom install option and click on the new folder in my browser, it goes through the scan process and recognizes/adds nothing.

When I go to contacts on my instinct and try to add a contact manually it then says, "no additional memory available". Over the past month I've noticed my phone would stop charging while still attached to the adapter. If I would move my phone while it was synched to my PC it would disconnect as well. I've had a few problems using the GPS on my phone. Has anyone tried to listen to the in car audio during the race, or the race radio and officials radio's? When I click on them they just come up loading and then say closedwith no audio. This is the second week I've tried this during the race with no results. What am I doing wrong?

Is there an IM app for the Instinct that will pop up the same notifications as SMS or Voicemail alerts? The IM application in the Sprint store is nice, but it is very inconvenient not knowing if you have new IMs, unless you are inside the application itself.

About two days ago, most of the applications in Home > Web: Weather Movies Sports Entertainment News News   stopped working. I don't see an error message, just the loading animation. I am having a problem here lately (in the last couple weeks) with my text messaging. I am experiencing long delays in getting my text messages. Sometimes an hour or more. I also get messages that come across in the wrong order and all kinds of crazy stuff.
