BlackBerry® Curve™ 8530 comes with a thin QWERTY keyboard, trackpad navigation and dedicated media keys for easy operation.  It also offers a 2 megapixel camera with video capture and 5x zoom, Wi-Fi, Stereo Bluetooth® and GPS capabilities.

 

BlackBerry App World:

AP Mobile, Weatherbug, Movies by Flixster, Earthcomber are just a few of the many apps you will find in BlackBerry App World to help you do more with your BlackBerry.  Sprint’s is the first U.S. carrier to offer BlackBerry App World™ preloaded on BlackBerry Curve 8530 for instant access to thousands of applications. Sprint has employed an open Internet approach, and the Sprint Application Developer Program has been providing tools for third-party developers, since Sprint first launched the Wireless Web on its phones in 2001.

 

Music and Social Networking:

BlackBerry Curve 8530 makes it easy to enjoy music on-the-go with dedicated keys to skip to the next song on a playlist, pause or play. It comes preloaded with several multimedia applications including BlackBerry Media Sync, Sprint Music Store™, Sprint TV® and Pandora™. It also boasts dedicated applications for a smoothly integrated social networking experience with Facebook®, MySpace™ and Flickr™.

 

Pricing/Availability:

The new BlackBerry® Curve™ 8530 in Black will be available from Sprint through direct ship sales channels, including Sprint stores, online at www.sprint.com, telesales at 1-800-SPRINT1 and Sprint Business Sales, beginning Dec. 18, for $49.99 with a two-year service agreement, after a $50 instant rebate and $100 mail-in rebate.

 

Royal Purple and Red versions of BlackBerry Curve 8530 will be available in early 2010.
