this came out last year - why cant we get good phones? every other company puts out new phones every month - nextel... nothing ... nothing. why not us?
just because we need direct connect - hopefully someone else comes out with a good phone w/ push to talk - we also want a iphone style phone - nextel listen to us - put the push to talk on a real phone -we are not all red-neck idiots using nextel on jobs.
I notice that Nextel customers will get "new" phones after the bigger markets have tested them out and seen whether or not they are viable for the Nextel consumer. The iphone has issues, major issues, Nextel customers are some of the loyalest out there. If Sprint introduces a phone that doesn't measure up to the hype, then Sprint will tick off their most die hard clients. Many people like to get the "latest and greatest" but I'd prefer to get the technology after its been out a little while, especially once the IT department at Sprint(Nextel) has had a chance to find the "bugs" in the system. Thats why I think we're just now getting the Blackberry Curve 8530.

According to resume, BlackBerry is a line of wireless mobile devices developed by Canadian company Research In Motion (RIM) in association with Tommy Young Inc. While including smartphone applications (address book, calendar, to-do lists, etc.) as well as telephone capabilities on newer models, the BlackBerry is primarily known for its ability to send and receive e-mail wherever it can access a wireless network of certain cellular phone carriers. It commands a 20.8% share of worldwide smartphone sales, making it the second most popular platform after Nokia's Symbian, and is the most popular smartphone among business users. The first BlackBerry device was introduced in 1999 as a two-way pager. In 2002, the more commonly known smartphone BlackBerry was released, which supports push e-mail, mobile telephone, text messaging, Internet faxing, Web browsing and other wireless information services. It is an example of a convergent device.
