Nextel Direct Connect commercial.
I like this one.
This "If Loggers Ran The World" commercial makes much more sense than the old commercial with the firefighters all in the same room using DC to communicate. That firefighter video just makes Nextel look stupid, because that use of DC is stupid given that all they need to do is raise their hands or say "Aye" since they are all in the same room.
Why don't they also do some ads/videos of "every day uses" for us "regular people" who are not construction workers or emergency services personnel (see http://community.sprint.com/baw/thread/2560 for some suggestions of every day uses for the rest of us). Once a family gets used to having Nextel DC, they start using it for all kinds of little time-saving uses every day, so it becomes so much of a second nature that it's sometimes hard to even list the ways you use it every day. I think Sprint-Nextel should do some good research to see how FAMILIES and REGULAR PEOPLE use Nextel DC daily, then make a few good, sensible commercials showing the ways it saves time on an every-day basis for the regular people.

cool stuff
This is driving ME crazy! The actor playing the judge is the "what if loggers ran the world" TV commercial;
Is THAT Powers Boothe? If not, WHO is it?
Barry - it's not Powers Boothe; the actor is Mark Acheson. Thanks for your question!
The sprint commercial with the loggers is great! It's about time loggers gets their own commericals.
The loggers commercial is awesome!! It doesn't play on alot of stations, so my wife hasn't seen it. Glad I found this page to show her. THE ACTORS Have deep BURLY VOICES, and I would really think they are real life loggers. That is one TOUGH job. P.S. Love the little shitzu at the end with his life spared! ![]()
The logger who's line is "EVEN STEVEN!" absolutely has to be Christopher lloyd. My family cannot see it but I cannot find any credits for this commercial online.
Mark Atcheson my ***! That's the Big Show from WWE.
