LG Fusic Picture mail Error

I am having a huge problem with the picture mail in my phone.I can send and receive picture mail without a problem but then when I try to see my picture mail inbox on my phone I get this error message:" Error: P-1 An unspecified error occurred". When I receive new picture mail is the only time Ican actually see the picture on my phone. When I go to the picture mail inbox I get that error message.I just want to know if there is some way I can fix it or do I need to take my phone to a Sprint store and see what they can do? I have never had this issue before. I hope someone can help I am desperate. LOL.

    First of all I am a little confused with the details....

    1) You have the issue when you use the Online Access to Picture Mail (saved on the Sprint servers AND accessed with the LG Fusic)?

    2) Your issue is with the memory card or the internal memory? (Have you tried saving the pictures to internal memory VS memory card?)

    3) Can you access the pictures from the memory card in tools menu (if you are saving them there)?

     

    I wonder if you have the latest software version LX550V12? A lot of picture mail issues were fixed with that version. Also, if you do try the memory card, you may want to back everything up and try a format on it and see if that helps. Maybe the memory card is corrupted and will not let you read from it. I don't believe there is a way to format the internal memory. Only way to access the internal memory directly is with bitpim and/or QPST (advanced tools).

    Sorry for the confusion! Here are the answers to your questions:

     

    1) The problem is when I go to my Picture Mail inbox on my phone. I go to the Regular Menu, then go to theMessagingMenu, then I go to the Picture Mail option, this is when I recieve the error message reading, "Error: P-1 An unspecified error occurred".

     

    2) The problem is not with the memory card. I am able to view and save pictures to my memory card without a problem.

     

    3) And Yes I am able to access the pictures from the memory card in tools menu.

     

    I hope that helps. I really don't know how else to explain the issue.

    I wish I could help you more.... but I don't use my LG Fusic anymore and unfortunately I wanted to see if I could change some advanced settings to get this to appear but realizing that I would have no way to try out my ideas, that is impossible.

     

    Glad you ruled out the memory card issue and can access them from the memory card in the tools menu. As this likely points to a configuration/software issue. I wonder if you take your phone in and have them re-install the software and/or re-provision the device what would happen.

    Is this with an issue when you try to forward a picture to someone or a picture that someone forwarded to you?

     

    Also can you connect to the web?

     

    Can you also take a picture and upload it?
