I remember when sprint use to have great customer service , I remember when bought my first htc i bought the 6700 it stopped working went to a sprint store they said that the replacement for that phone was the palm 650 or something like that , I used it for a while but i had trouble with texting on that keyboard b\c my fingers were so big lol, but anyway's i called sprint customer service at first i told them i wasnt happy with it they were great they sent me the new version of my old 6700 the mogul witch i was very happy with . i have the instinct now since it first came out i have had so many problem with it the phone has been replaced three times my screen has been replaced about ten times the screen keeps freezing up and can't do anything with my phone . i called sprint customer service i told them that i wasnt happy with it they said I would have to go to the store to get it replaced with another so there i go just to hear the store tell me that i would have to call customer service so i finally called sprint back i told them i was very very p.o i told him all i wanted was to get my phone replaced so they offered to get me a new phone buy using my rebate and still have to pay out of pocket and another two year contract then he asked if they were at risk of loosing my business i replied yes I said I wasn't going to sign another two year contract so he responded by suggesting to just to take my number else where like at&t i was so p.o that after over six years with sprint they were just willing to give my business up so easy .

Someone will help you, don't give up yet.
Somebody missed their sensitivity class, and should consider another line of work, he/she didn't represent Sprint honorably.
Good luck.
Sounds oddly familiar, lol. We had problems with our Palm Centro and was replaced numerous times. The retentions rep we spoke with basically said the same thing to us except we did not have the upgrade factor. Purpose of retentions is to keep customers...not drive them away by saying go elsewhere or to just cancel service.
I agree totally that "Retention" is to keep customers. I have been with Sprint almost 10 years and when February 10, 2010 comes, my phone
choice will probably be AT&T and the iphone 3GS.
honestly im done talking to people at sprint i have three line two expire in December im going to wait till then , and then im gonna take retention sugestion and go to at&t
oh hey guys and to add to my problems with sprint my touch pro also has the same problem and all they can do is replace it with the same thing when i keep having the same problems , but i not surprised im already a custom to the horrible customer service at sprint .
I join Sprint Nextel on July 2008 and i never had any problems with sprint Nextel at all.
My First cell phone with Sprint Nextel was Nextel i670 I used that for a while into i upgrade to Samsung M800 Instinct.
I never had to get my cell phone replace or repaired.I am still on my first instinct
I did mess up one time at work and drop my Nextel i670 into the toliet. I got it out and remove the battery and let it sit for a while and after a while i put battery back in and Nextel i670 was up and running with no problems at all.
My First Cell phone was with At&t
I got a card in the mail for a free cell phone and i took the deal and that was around the year 2001
I had them into i lost my job at blockbuster video on april 2002 and i had no way to paying my cell phone bill so they ended my service i had to pay termination fee.
This is what my first cell phone look like from At&t at that time

I too am disappointed in sprints service the last year or so, I have been with them for about 10-11 years, they had a good run for a while, but now they are falling behind, the news phones have terrible reception as well. I am going this weekend to talk to ATT about their service, I will be paying my way out of our contract, The service has turned that poor here in North Georgia. and with loosing so much in phone reception up here, why pay a premium price for a cell phone, particularly with services like metro out there, it used to be we bragged how good our reception was with sprint all over this country (U.S.) and traveling in Canada, in fact is has got so bad we have dropped two of our phones with them already....
Boost is there too, but it;s owned by sprint/nextel, and runs off the nextel towers, it has very poor reception up here as well, sad but true sprint really has no concern about loosing high end customers that have been with them for years.....
I'm already working on it now as I just upgraded my land line with a dsl bundle that has free nation wide long distance, so Not only does sprint loose my cell, they are going to loose my long distance as well as we have them for our long distance carrier.....
