You know what, I know this isn't going to be fixed anytime soon so maybe you guys from pocket express could do us a favor when you do fix our app.

Could you add...say, the stocks....or travel?

The icons are there ( hidden ), and for those who know how, can pull them up and set them up to open with an app or a weblink shortcut, but you'd be doing a great favor to add this and make it function the way only you guys know how...

I've done so today, and it just makes the web menu look better...Like pocket express

should look like on our Instincts.

Not sure why everyone gave up and didn't finish the product

But for those of us who still have this phone, we'd appreciate it

if you didn't stop improving it's potential...

I just got it at about 9:14 AM Central Time on 10/19/2009.  I hit News.  It then tried to do "Updating News" (or whatever it calls it).  It stuck on that, so I hit Cancel.  It then took me to the News menu and I hit Top Stories.  I then got a Klondike Bar.  (I did not actually click on one of the News stories.)

I just did News again and it worked perfectly.  (No "Updating News", no sticking on "Updating News", no "Cancel", no Klondike Bar.)  It went straight to the News stories list and I successfully picked one with no problems.

Very weird.

Hope so, I have been unable to replicate it myself since Thursday. Good news, is they are aware of the reports, and they are reading these forums. Continue to post if it pops up again, giving as much detail as possible as to the steps you took.

Klondike bars are dead to me now - thanks to PE and Sprint.

I've tried to replicate this error. No Klondike bars for me. However, I did email Handmark about the stocks app. That would be cool if Handmark would add some functionality. I also sincerely hope they fix this glitch before we all have Samsung Klondike's instead of Samsung Instinct's.

Good luck and I'm rooting for a resolution.

Just reading this thread has killed any desire to have a Klondike bar. lmao! Sorry, I had to say it.

Handmark answered my question concerning the hidden stocks and travel icons....not promising in the least.

" They were packaged within a folder ( more than likely a copied folder from the source files of the other versions that do include the features ) but hidden from view as the functionality is not there nor do I have any information on whether or not it will ever be available " this is after speaking to the Q&A team.

Just non-functioning images...

On a positive note I have added functionality to both, in a sence.

Travel links to the mobile version of Travelosity

Stocks links to the mobile version of Fidelity.com

Something is better than nothing...Both open the native browser ( links if you will )

They're yours if you want them...i've included the webmenu.dat file for you.

If you know how to get to the webmenu.dat file just drag and drop a copy of your origional on your computer for safe keeping ( incase you want to revert back ) then just drag my file into place and copy and replace...wahlah, you have the added icons too...with function. Updates don't affect either one because they're not being used anyways.

This is only for the M800 model....anywho....enjoy
