WiFi Question 

Will the Hero connect to both a G and an N wireless network.

 

I have a G network now and my phone seems to connect to it just fine but am about to upgrade to N. I know if it is only a G rated device it will only have G speeds, but are there problems with it connecting to an N network?

Yes it will connect to N - no problems at all.
