Task Managers Killing Mobile Network Connection?

I did some research on this and all the links in the community lead to some dead area.

So, I will pose the question...

Would using a task manager cause me to get disconnected from the mobile network?

I have had a few times after I installed my task manager where I am no longer on the mobile network for data even though it says I am.  The only way for me to get it back on is for me to restart the phone.

Also, task manager, yes or no?  Some people say that they are a godsend while others are calling them trash pretty much.

I am just trying to figure this out so that I don't have to keep restarting my phone to get picture mail and what not.

Depends on what tasks you're killing, assuming you are using it to kill tasks. Otherwise it would just be taking up space on the phone right? But yes, klling certain apps can mess up your data connection. I used to use a task manager but I stopped. Android handles memory effectively most of the time. Only time I have a problem is if I leave the browser in the background with a media-heavy page loading. So I'm not saying they're trash, I'm just saying they're not really needed.

Yeah I used to have that problem. It happens when you kill certain apps like Sprint Navigation, and some others I forget. Best solution is to just not usea task killer.
