IF You're Returning a Defective Phone, do You get a new or refurb immediately?

I am planning to return a defective Palm Pre that I bought on October 29, 2009.  I have been without a phone for the last few days and can't go much longer without one.  When I go into the store I bought it from, if they have it in stock will they give me a new or refurbished one tomorrow?  Thanks

If you are returning it to the store (that's what I had to do once), my experience was that they gave me a new one. As long as you are within that 30 day window. At least that's what the lady at the store told me, but with my own experience this week, I am not 100% sure I trust everything they say *laugh* - but yes, they did give me a brand new one. And this one works great!

Inside the 30 day window you should recieve an exchange for a brand new one .
