This article sounds like it is an official press release now that both phones are $99.99 with new activation. Anyone have luck with an upgrade at this price, post it up on the forum.

Edit: thanks for the updated information edzilla
Price is for new activation only. For upgrades the price reverts back to $179.99
The Moment is listed at $79 on Amazon.com but unfortunately has been showing "not in stock" for now 3 weeks. I emailed Amazon and they have no date of availability. Surprising too, Blackberries are also not in stock, the Hero is not even listed for sale (why not, if it's a popular device?). I would think that Sprint would want to sell a lot of these on Amazon... customers seeing "not in stock" must either buy from another carrier or cancel their order if 3 weeks later the device is still not available. Sprint, any comment on the situation? Are you guys so sold out that you can't fill orders even after this much time for the devices mentioned?
We did get 1 Moment in store the day the phone came out, it was expensive. Now looking at a 2nd one for a family plan, less in a hurry and looking for a deal. By the way, our local Best Buy (Seattle) does not carry Sprint phones. Ugh.

Samsung Moment that is listed on Amazon for $79 that is only for new customers.
As soon as the price drops to $99 at the Sprint stores, I'll be switching my daughter from US Cellular to Sprint on my plan. I just hate to give any money to bestbuy if I can avoid it.
I'm hoping this happens in the next week or so.
Best buy keeps on giving! Went into my local Altamonte Springs, FL store this afternoon and they had the moment for $79 according to the flyer in the rack by the door. Talking to one of the mobile reps, asking how long it was likely to last he suggested I forget about the $79 and go for the "manger's special" which was 1/2 off a smart phone. I think I had seen that sign over the displays when I exchanged my hero for a moment last week, but I assumed that was 1/2 off regular price not the $99 I paid. So with the 1/2 off smart phone I paid $50!
So I asked them to adjust so now I have 2 moments and a hero for a TOTAL of $150. I lost 4% on reward points for the adjustment, but I'll take the 96% savings instead! I asked the rep if I should make him go thru the time and the trouble or if I should wait until black friday(mobile reps have to take care of it, standard customer service will send you to them anyway for adjustment) and he said it shouldn't be going anywhere soon but "it was a manager's special" for the Altamonte Springs store only. I'm guessing it's a black friday deal which they had posted early. I should have gone for 1/2 off the $79 for the 2 moments but I figure I've already taken enough advantage of them.
I was/am seriously considering dropping the 2 lines with the moment due to the GPS issue so I can rebuy them next week (still haven't ported number or closed tmo account these are meant to replace) and reset the 30 days, but for $50?? I think I'll deal with the lack of GPS until 2.0 comes out and use my portable gps in the car on the rare occasions I need it.
Both phones are $69.99 at bestbuy as of now............too bad we dont see touch pro 2 there..............too bad sprint has no other good phones...............
Yep, I got one for 99 dollars. I had some major issues with my Pre and right before I was about to terminate my service they explained that I was eligible for thee lines. Im just glad to have a phone for the rest of the weekend, and I will able to work out the details with the other phone on monday... Thank Goodness.
