Text messaging issues 

I have had issues sending and recieving text messages for the past 3 days. i get a red x with an error message and also unable to access Sprint TV nor Navi as well as spotty coverage in my home...I just switched from Tmobile to sprint maybe 2 weeks ago and regarding the plan its great, but the service disappointing to say the least.  I was told that we have people working on the issue, but how long does it take....I have BB Tour, and really cant use all of the features it was meant to do. Can someone help? I really feel like i made the wrong decision.

I don't think you made the wrong decision going with Sprint. I love Sprint, I've had them for 6 years.

But I too am having this issue, with the PRE, and it is most definitely getting frustrating.

If I am in roam, which I most often am at my home, I will NOT get a text! I can send one, get an error message that it did not send (though it did...FIVE times!) but I can not receive them. When I venture out and get into Sprint coverage I will get the texts I missed MULITPLE times! I ended up calling customer service to have one contact's number blocked because I got the message more than 40 times!!! Today, after being in Sprint coverage for 3+ hours, I got a text from early yesterday evening 16 times!

I have called customer service regarding the issue and they have told me there is no problem on their end. However I visited my local Sprint store just a few days before I made that call and they said it was an on going issue with the network and any further problems should be reported to customer service....ummm....ok....*screams*

I hope it gets sorted out soon, for your sake and mine!

I have had the same problem.  I also have a PRE.  When I roam I am on the Verizon network.  I have had the same conversations with Sprint.  I hoped 1.3.1 may fix the problem but no luck.  Also I am in East Tennessee.  Have you had any luck yet?  I will let you know if I do.
