I know XDA developers are extremely well-off and every1 knows bout them... but they are not android developers.... we need to channel all of android developers to one site or a few... i found a website called androidoverdrive.com and they just started up... a guy posted in the samsung moment thing that he's trying to learn about how to root it... so hopefully if we channel more people their we can maybe get it done faster...
I also found a great website where people are at work to root the Samsung Moment alldroid.org
this is their forum for samsung moment...
http://alldroid.org/viewforum.php?f=215
and androidoverdrive.com's forum for samsung moment
http://www.androidoverdrive.com/viewforum.php?f=27

Respect the initiative, but know this thread might not live forever on this site (seeing the branding at the top left of your browser). Rooting voids warranties w/manufacturer/carrier for good reasons. The links might be okay, but I'm pretty sure this isn't a good place for any details ![]()
You're exactly right aBsTRaCt.
We don't permit how-to's of rooting devices on the forum because we don't want it to appear that Sprint endorses that behavior.
Rooting the device voids the warranty.
