I would like to suggest Sprint add the the following new plan:
Sprint already offers the plan with 1500 and 3000 minutes, it would be a nice lower minute plan. I believe this plan at around $69.99 - $79.99
would be a great plan for a families with children and working parents.
this is EXACTLY what i came on here to post... i use maybe around a 3rd of the minutes a month now with the any mobile anywhere... so why dont they just add new family plans with less minutes. people are trying to save money now because of the horrible economy... is there something sprint can do? i mean they come out with some pretty reasonable things, like the any mobile anywhere... its a pretty good idea, but what about the minutes not being used now? something should be done... and FAST! I really dont want to have to switch phone companies... AGAIN!
this is exactly the type of plan I'm looing for... and I'm pretty sure there are thousands of ppl on with the family all data plan who are lookin for the same thing, just to save a bit of money. we're saving so many minutes now with the any mobile anytime addition... so many minutes that it seems rediculous to even keep this many minutes, but it'll cost WAY more to go to individual plans.
Sprint, please use these suggestions, I'm sure it'll keep you from losing customers in the long run......
I'm a long-time Sprint customer. We currently have a 700 minute Family Plan and we rarely use 200 minutes/month. I'm currently looking at upgrading to a Palm Pre but the cost of the current plans is completely out of reach considering how few minutes we use.
Please consider the OP's suggestion. I bet there are lots of folks out there just like us and the previous posters.
Regards,
Dan
Hello All,
I can agree that Sprint could offer maybe a 1000 minutes Everything Data plan, however I believe that 1500 or 3000 minutes on a family plan is a happy medium...I understand there are some families that do not need that many minutes, but then you have to consider the family with the teenagers that have the the phone glued to there ears all day! Or small business accounts that love the plan idea and need more minutes than the average family plan offers. I believe the right choice in minute offerings under the Family Plans was made!

Maybe its just me but i thought they had an everything plan for family with 700 minutes but then they took it away. I completely agree with these other consumers. Families that use more data, texting and less than 1500 minutes a month need an better and cheaper option. Its not fair that we are forced to pay 129.99 a month. I think they'll lose customers if they don't offer a cheaper option.
Then again, Sprint should have a variety of choices to choose from Plans. Not only 2 choices which are 1500mins and 3000mins. Some people may use less, some people may use in the middle, and some people may use a lot which is when 3000mins comes in handy. Now, so many minutes aren't necessary anymore ever since Any Time, Any Mobile was introduced. The carrier with the most variety of choices is most likely the company that will have more people coming too. Have to use some logic and give people a variety of choices to keep them happy. A Family Everything Data Plan with 750 mins. or 1000 mins. for around $79.99-$99.99 would be nice. Then Sprint would get a few more customers signing up and this is what Sprint defintely needs right now, Customers.
Sprint needs to listen up to their customers idea's, it would be a nice start.
Miya,
We're not asking Sprint to give up the 1,5000 or the 3,000 minute plans. I'm sure these are good plans for families that need them. We're asking for an additional plan for those like us who don't need more than 500-750 minutes / month.
My wife and I never use one third of our current Family Plan with 700 minutes. Now I'd like to get a Palm Pre to use its features. The smallest Family Plan available is 1500 minutes - about 1300 minutes more than we'll ever use.

Dan
I can understand Sprint not being willing to make the plan too cheap with the AMA feature. AMA probably costs Sprint a considerable amount of money, in the sense that it has probably killed both the uptake of SE plans AND considerably reduced their overage revenue.
But still, there are tons of people who don't *need* 1500 AT minutes, much less AMA.
So I would suggest this: how about a smaller plan which DOESN'T include AMA? Other carriers are doing this with their 'bonus calling' features, e.g., VZW will only give you the calling circle on plans over a certain MRC.
I don't have any data, but just from anecdotal evidence (such as the many threads like this one, here and elsewhere), I am pretty convinced that Sprint is losing a lot of customers over this issue. I guess the question is whether Sprint actually wants such customers. I am beginning to think not.
Sprint is becoming a carrier providing great value for high-end users through its Everything plans, and great value for low-end users through its Boost and soon-to-be Sprint's Virgin Mobile prepaid brands. But it is not such a great value for users in the middle. This is so obvious that it must be a considered strategy. I just hope it works; I like Sprint and don't want to see it go away.
Make the Pro Pack the reqired data paln for those not interested in migrating to an Everything because they have a family of lghit talkers, to really entice them, add AnyMobile to the pack too
Excuse my lack of knowledge. What's a "Pro Pack"? I searched plans on the Sprint site but couldn't find anything like that.

Dan
I agree with you. I have the 1500 minutes family plan with 3 lines but we use less than 300 minutes per month.
It will be nice to get a plan with 750 minutes
