Pre problems continue 

I'm on my SECOND Pre since right before Christmas 09.  The first one mysteriously "locked up" and restarted at the local store, and lost all my info in it.  Now, the second one seems to not charge on the external charger (USB when attached to computer or the wall, along with another separate wall charger I bought thinking that was the problem).  Has anyone else experienced these problems?  I'm not real impressed about this phone right now!

I feel you. I'm on my second Pre since the launch, and it did the same thing yours is doing now. After troubleshooting, the answer to the problem was so simple it made me happy and mad at the same time. Just shut down the Pre. Take the battery out for 30 sec. Replace it. Plug it to the charger and turn it on. If your battery was completely drained, you may get some indicators on the screen you have never seen. But don't worry...it will begin to charge again. I have had to do this twice so far. It's a minor pain, but it works. I hope it helps.

Thanks for the info Tazman.  I tried it -- three times.  It didn't work for me so I have to travel across town once again to the store.  I appreciate your reply on this subject for me!
