Touch Pro 2 Bluetooth issues?

I've noticed some issues with my TP2's Bluetooth performance.

  • Using a stereo headset (I use a Jabra 8010), when connecting headset to device I have to go into settings and manually activate A2DP about half the time (the phone only activates HFP automatically on its own).

  • When output is going to another app via stereo BT and a call comes in, the call doesn't switch over to BT but goes to earpiece. You have to go into the call menu and turn handsfree on for the call to go to the headset. The phone handles this properly most of the time when I am using the music player (I use TCPMP) but almost never does when I am using Sprint Nav.

  • The headset control buttons do not work to answer/end calls, I have to connect/disconnect using the handset buttons or screen.

Anyone else noticed these issues? I want to make sure I don't have a defective unit.

And if someone can confirm that their device also has these issues, does anyone know of any fixes for them?

Any help greatly appreciated. These performance issues are marring an otherwise entirely joyful handset user experience (to speak in Applespeak :-) ).

Re: Touch Pro 2 Bluetooth issues?

When I use the phone in my car, the screen locks up. I can hang-up on my car touch screen but the phone screen shows I am still connected. It is soooo slow to pull up Contacts or to respond to any touch. What causes it to do this only when conencted to my car bluetooth?
