Well as an Iden customer for years I have seriously debated giving up my much beloved direct connect for more advanced phones and networks. I was looking at Sprint devices and found nothing appealing with the line-up. I must replace my DC with a new feature that is equivalent, so a heavy duty phone is in plan.
I have been wishing for years for Nextel to get better phones and data network, unfortunately this will end as a wish and never a reality. I would stay if Sprint enhanced the Nextel data network to 3g. That is why response teams are going with at&t, network is stronger and faster.
I will be going to at&t for my next provider for many reasons other than the iphone. The new SE X10 phone looks like a must have to replace my neglected Nextel.

the thing is that verizon and at&t charge 20 DLS more for the same plan plus taxes that is like 30 dls more that starts to ud up!

I would rather pay more for something I wanted than pay less for something I don't.
To whoever is going to switch to At&t have fun. I was with them for a very long time. I had nothing but trouble with them. Mostly, your bill will NEVER be the same every month. Good luck if you go over your data plan. Even with unlimited (which is way more expensive) you still can exceed your data minutes. And be prepared to check your bill everyday because you will find unnecessary charges that will be in question. Always dropping calls and not connecting. How about not being able to upgrade your phone for two years. Just my opinion for what its worth.
