Troubleshoot common issues with Sprint Mobile Email and Sprint Mobile Email Work

My sprint mobile email for my palm centro is recieving an error message "s7122", everytime I try to send an email linked through my gmail account. It has worked fine for over a year and just started the past couple days. It recieves messages as long as there is nothing in the outbox. I tried deleting the account and adding it back with the same result. I have read several post on google with the same problem but no answers. Any thoughts?
Last I heard Google was having issues, and we were holding on Google to clear the problem.
