Adding minutes to your plan automatically renews your existing contract with sprint.

Did you know that if you add more minutes to your current plan with sprint, that they automatically renew your 2yr. contract on you, without telling you they are going to do that. To me that is illegal and unfair. Had we known that we wouldn't have added any more minutes to our plan. Sprint is screwing people around by doing this and not imforming you they are going to do this. People beware, sprint will ***** you over. We will end up leaving sprint, their service is awful, dropped calls, no signal.
Your contract may have been accidentally renewed by the system when this change occurred, however after 11/11/07, changes to your account will not affect your contract. Sprint's enhanced Right Plan Promise allows new and existing customers more flexibility by allowing them to change to any currently offered plan at any time without renewing their service agreement. Customers can change plans throughout their tenure, providing customers the opportunity to adjust their plans when their wireless needs change. Please feel free to chat or call in with an agent to have your Contract renewal dates reviewed if found that your contract was extended because of the addition of minutes, your contract can then be changed back to the previous contract within 72 hours. Please feel free to private message me if you have any more questions regarding this policy.
Let me clarify, I said: "after 11/11/07, changes to your account will not affect your contract."
When saying "changes to your account," I was directly relating to your situation of adding minutes. By adding minutes, changing your plan, altering other add-on features; these changes will not renew your contract as of 11/11/07.
I have responded to your private message that you have sent me, please let me know if you have had the issue resolved or if there is anything that I can do to assist you with the issues you are having.
No, they do not. And no it wouldnt be illegal if they did as it would be in the fine print that nobody reads anyway. An error has obviously been made, hopefully you followed the right channels and got it fixed. As far as dropped calls you used to be able to get credit for it, I don't have a problem with it even when roaming so I have never tried.
