Perform a hard reset on your HTC Touch Pro2

my screen has locked, somehow, meaning ANYTHING on the touchscreen can not be activated, can someone help. I done the soft boot, can't do the hard, cause the all settings can't be clicked.

    Complete this step to perform a hard reset.With the device turned off press and hold the talk and end keys firs and then press and hold power button until you the following  message(will reset all setting to manufacture default settings) release the talk key , end key and power button. press the volume up button to restore the device to factory defaults status.
