Now that XOHM has officially launched in Baltimore it seems like the right time to open a discussion space here to talk about the 4G offerings from Sprint.
Hi,
Do you know, 4G network is available in how many areas?
Do you have the area name where the 4G works?
A full listing of the markets with the 4G network deployed is available at:
http://nextelonline.nextel.com/en/stores/popups/4G_coverage_popup.shtml
The is a drop down on the lower portion listing off all of the cities that have it deployed already.
Thank you so much.
Just to know, do you work with Sprint?
If yes!!!
then may I know, which process?
Are you working in Chat support?
Yes, Sprint employees have the Going Forward logo under their avatar to the left of posts. I work in a retail store.
I see...
Nice to talk to you...
I usually use to purchase phones online. I am not that much aware of the services the retail store provides even I never visited any Sprint store, hope I will be able to know from you.
You know...I have lot of questions regarding the stores availability and pricing.
One thing I would like to know that, is the pricing is really different in stores and online. Does the store also offer free phones?
This link is really helpful.
But I would like to know how can I check the 4G is available in my area or not.
Do you have any data sheet or any link by which I can check in how many areas this 4G service is available.
That is my exact requirement.
As per example : 4G is available in NY or not?
same as TX, MD, FL, e.t.c......
Hope you got my question..
Sprint comes out with Press Releases from time to time whenever they announce a new 4G area. You can find all the official releases in the media relations newsroom at http://www.sprint.com/mr
You can also sign up to be notified when it's in your area by clicking the "tell me when its out" link on the 4G page. From there they have a listing of the cities that have already been announced but have not yet launched.

Exactly which phones will be 4g compatible?
4G is not compatible with any existing Sprint or Nextel phones......Wimax (4G) requires a separate specific radio that is currently not built into any pre-existing Sprint or Nextel phones. However, in previous press releases and interviews, Sprint has said that they will start to release other 4G devices, including a phone sometime in 2010.
We won't know which new handsets will have the 4G technology until the official press releases start to come out, though I'm sure the rumor sites will be all over it as we get closer to the release dates.
Thanks dear..
Are you also from Sprint????
Hi...
Currently Sprint does not offer any 4G phone..
Only data card is available with 4G....
The data card is
This is one and only data card compatible with 4G....
Just to know...
Are you from retail store or from chat support or telesales?????
I do work for Sprint (look for the black Sprint (triangle) symbol and "Sprint Employee" under a users name.) I do not work in telesales or a retail store/chat.
Thanks!!!!
Do you have any link where I can run my credit check to know if I am approved for Sprint services, and to know how many lines I am approved?
I just want to check it from my end.
If I do that online, I must have to select the phones and plans first, so is it possible to run the credit before selecting phone and plan?????
With warm regards!!
Steven
