Important Notes:

- This software update includes a download step and an install step. 

- Download time over 4G or Wi-FI will take approximiately 10 minutes; download time over 3G will take approximately 20 minutes

- Install time will take from 5-10 minutes.

- During the install time, you will not be able to use your device
- Released in stages with 100% of devices having received the update within 10-15 days

 

Update your software

    1.  From the Home screen, press Menu and tap Settings

    2.  Flick down to scroll up and tap System Update

    3.  Tap Update Firmware

    4.  Your phone will check for updates

    5.  If there is an update, follow the on-screen instructions to download and install it

    6.  If your phone displays Your system is currently up to date, your phone is on the

         most current software version, or the update hasn't been pushed to your phone yet

        

Check the version on your phone

    1.  From the Home screen, press Menu and tap Settings

    2.  Flick down to scroll up and tap About phone

    3.  Flick down to scroll up and the software version is displayed under SW Version
