Sprint uses a few different 4-digit short codes for free messages and self-service account management. Below is a list of some of the short codes, I will try and keep this updated as new codes are added/removed for use.
1311 - Usage and Upgrade Eligibility
This short code allows you to request your upgrade eligibility and current usage information (minutes, text and data). Text UPGRADE or USAGE.
3223 - Sprint Account Alerts
This is educational info about your new device from Sprint.
7726 - Report Spam Text Messages
Sprint has employed a system for reporting SPAM 7726 that gives customers the ability to report unwanted text messages received.
1) Forward the offending message to address 7726 (spells SPAM). A user can forward by holding down on the offending message until a menu pops up with the ability to 'Forward.' Depending on the device, a user may also be able to select Report as SPAM
2) The user will receive a message 'Free Msg: Thank you for reporting spam. Please reply with the source phone number or email address of the offending message. Thank you for helping us stop spam?
When prompted, reply back to the 7726 address via text message with the source number XXX-XXX-XXXX or XXXXX. When you forward the original message, it does not send the originator of the message, only the content. Therefore, a user must also reply with the offending number that originated the message in order for Sprint to investigate.
3) One of the two following acknowledgement replies will be received back that states:
Free-Msg: Thank you, we appreciate your assistance.
Free-Msg: It is likely that your message came from a short code. Please return to the original message and reply STOP.

Used for notifications about message delivery when texting a landline phone number that does not support SMS messaging. Either a successful or an unsuccessful message will be sent to your phone depending on the outcome.

9099 - Sprint Free Msg
