After my phone attempted an automatic update (which I was not aware that it would do that) it has quit working. I have a white screen with a message 'error app 523 / reset'. I have attempted to reset and it only goes thru the same process ending with the error app message again. I cannot access anything on my phone. I have googled this issue and have seen numerous solutions using Blackberry Desktop Manager; however, my phone will not connect to the computer. Also, I have not backed up my information on the phone (ie: my contact list) will I loose them. I am not tech savvy by any means and need step by step instructions.
