My Epic 4G is not power cycling (not turning on at all). My phone charge ran out, so it has been charging now for 30 minutes and the phone will not turn on. I have removed the battery twice and allowed the phone to sit without the battery for 10 minutes and it still will not turn on. This is my 2nd 4G, is anyone familiar withthis problem?
This happens on my wife's EPIC if she runs the battery all the way down but only when using one of her old LG chargers. If we use the stock EVO or EPIC charger the phone will fire right up. Most of these new smart phones need close to 1 amp to charge. Unfortunately many of the old Micro USB chargers and cables don't allow for this. The retractable USB cables are absolutely terrible.
