i bought a new sprint overdrivepro to replace my overdrive that broke on me. i activated it on my sprint account but its still saying : Device Activation Required See Alerts page at http://overdrivepro for more info.
but i cannot go there... and when i turn it on the trys to go through hands free activation but it fails and says the above ^
If anyone knows whats goin on, it would help alot thanks
Go to Advanced Settings > Device (tab) > About (tab) > Reset device to factory defaults (button).
In SPC Code field, enter MSL. You will need to get this from Sprint
In the Confirmation pop-up, click Yes.
The device will disconnect, restart after a few moments, and reconnect.
At Terms and Conditions, click I have read the terms and conditions check box, then click Save.
Welcome to your Overdrive Pro window is displayed.
Click The Internet to start surfing
Device reset is complete and customer can browse the Internet normally.
You can later access and configure various (and security settings) by typing http://overdrivepro in their browser.
Default password is: password.
Soft / Hard Reset:
With the Overdrive Pro power on, insert a thin object (for example, the end of a paper clip) into the reset hole underneath the battery cover, and lightly press on the bottom of the hole for about 1 second will soft reset the device.
Holding down the reset button for 5 or more seconds will Hard Reset the device, until the LCD on the front screen displays Reset to factory defaults? Verify by pressing the power key.
Press power key to confirm.
This removes all software configurations, such as passwords and DHCP settings, but 3G/4G account information is unaffected.
You can always get instant help by using the CHAT icon. The CHAT link does not show up when you are in Communities or Forums - Go to the top of the page click on My Sprint>>My Account Wait for about 45 seconds and you should see the CHAT button appear next to your login name. If it doesn’t appear click on See My Bill and wait a few seconds. Click on the CHAT button for someone to verify your account information and gain access to your account. You can also dial *2 from your handset.
