    Here ya go:

HTC One X for Sprint could be HTC EVO One

    Under: HTC, Sprint
    Date: March 30th, 2012

Many of you are waiting for the HTC One X to be released, one of the new wave of quad-core processor smartphones.  In the U.S AT&T will be the first carrier to release this handset but we already knew that it was coming to Sprint as well.  Today we have heard that the HTC One X may be renamed the HTC EVO One for Sprint.

Sprint is aiming to start carrying LTE smartphones for its upcoming LTE network and although the AT&T HTC One X is rumored for a May release, Sprint already told how its variant would not be arriving until the summer.  Recently we told how the Sprint variant was codenamed the Jet and gave a rumored release date of June 10 but it now seems the HTC EVO One title is far more likely.

As well as the new name a new release date of June 6 has been touted as reported by Android Central. HTC and Sprint are holding an event on May 4 and a nameless insider has informed that the smartphone that will be announced is the HTC EVO One with a release date of June 6. It will have a 4.7-inch AMOLED 720p display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor (the AT&T version also has dual-core rather than the quad-core processor for other regions), 16GB of internal memory with micro SD card slot, 8-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front-facer, 2650mAh battery, LTE connectivity and Beats by Dre audio.

It will also be running on Android 4.0 ICS and many of you will know that these are virtually the same specs as for the HTC One X.  It also matches another rumor that came up recently about the Sprint HTC One X having a different chassis and this same source said that the HTC EVO One is black and red, is thin and also features a kickstand.

Although a lot of this information looks credible, Android Central points out that it would be difficult to achieve a very slim phone with a whopping battery and also microSD card slot, so for now we’ll hold judgement on whether this leak is accurate or not. As the event date is now only days away though, hopefully we’ll be able to bring you more concrete news on the Sprint HTC EVO One (HTC One X) very shortly. Are you waiting for the Sprint version of the HTC One X?

if youre still needing some info on it.

also i love the kickstand..im still running the original EVO 4G...i DONT  however love the placement of the usb port..especially because of the kickstand. on the side? really? lets see how that one works out if youre trying to watch a movie or whatnot and charge it at the same time.

Flip it upside down.  Supposedly it's spring-loaded so it will support the phone in either landscape orientation.

Interesting...didn't know that.  Hopefully they'll upgrade the apps to take advantage of that feature as well as the new screen

ditto. im wondering if this is because of the last few OS updates or not...if i remember right before froyo we could actually do landscape with the phone on our home screen as well...but that was lost as well. even the original manual says it was able to do this...so maybe ICS will bring this option back?

I don't know what version of Netflix you are using, but they added screen rotation a looooong time ago.

actually i just checked it on my phone and it IS rotating now..i just got a update a while back..then again i havent checked if it flips or not for quite a while now. i do however know that alot of apps wont flip either way..just tested 3 of those and no go. i think crackle was one of the ones that wont flip..but i got rid of that one a while back...kept buffering even while on wifi...yet no issues on netflix.

The EVO 3D can do this, so I be surprised if the EVO 4G LTE wouldn't be able to.
