Just like your computer, your phone's software needs to be updated periodically to make sure you have all the latest fixes and enhancements to keep it running at optimal performance. Follow the steps below to check your current version and perform any needed updates.

Updates are rolled out randomly over a period of time (I have heard 8 days on this update, but some are shorter, some are longer). You'll have to wait for your phone to check for the update (and get it from Google) before you can upgrade. You can force a check manually using the instructions at the bottom of the post (Settings, About, System Updates, Check Now).
Also, your phote will automatically check randomly every day. So, if you do nothing, it will eventually surprise you with an update!
@ voodoo66 The Jelly Bean update is a slow rollout through Google's Over the Air server. Performing a manual check for this update will not work, your Galaxy Nexus will provide a notification when the update is ready for you to install with option to Install Now or Install Later.
I found this at http://www.androidcentral.com I wonder if the Sprint support GNex page has a typo.
check the pic
Galaxy Nexus: FH05
Galaxy Nexus S:JRO03R
And those that have posted thank you for your input.
I will stop mashing the check for system updates button and get back to work.
BTW I ordered my phone in July and just got my rebate back from Sprint.
At least these are on the way.
It would be to cool to get beaned this weekend too.
So when it gets pushed and updated is the build number going to be JRO03R.L700FH05 ????
Sprint is proud to have been named to The Civic 50, an annual survey of America?s most community-minded companies.
