Is the Edge Slide Zoom still disabled/gone, or did they at the least add a setting to enable/disable it?
I find it totally amateur and laughable for a software company to remove a feature rather than make it user configurable.
If they want to default to disabled, fine. But when it is a feature that is not even in the manual and I can't even find out what the name for it is, even when "Chatting" with useless Samsung "Support".
They are so useless, the guy I was "Chatting" with argued with me that it was n ot a feature on the phone, and that it probably came from a 3rd Party App that I downloaded and was therefore unsupported.
I finally got the guy to transffer my chat and I was able to convince the Supervisor into getting a phone, to see for himself. He confirmed it did have the feature, but didn't know what it was called, and didn't know if it was removed from MA6, because he said MA6 doesn't exist. Of course now we're on MB1. I said, ok how about MB1. Again, "does not exist" Totally useless.
I admit, at first I thought it was a bug when the screen would zoom in and out almost randomly to the touch, until I realized that if you slide your finger along the edges up or down, you can zoom in/out holding the phone with just one hand.
I now use it all day every day for reading email.
It is undocumented and people were confused by it so they demanded it be removed. Stupid users. And as I said, if it is entirely removed and not User COnfigurable, then Stupid Samsung adding insult to injury.
I will not update wihtout this feature.
I will permit myself to have "Root" access. I'm tired of being controlled by Samsung. This is my 3rd Android phone, Epic, Epic Touch and now S3 and it has been the same **** from Samsung. They do not want to make the software better. They want to dump more hardware on our shores, and stockpile our dollars.
figure in a single phones life it will usually get at least 2 big updates through google. track back on the last few years and you'll see this is the usual case..
OK. Reviewed comments. Appears Sprint USA has not released Premium Suite yet and reviewed comments about it being made available when GS IV is released. Can you confirm if GS III will get this package at that time?
