Thanks for the question. As far as taking the phones you currently have on the Sprint Network and taking them to Boost, there is no way of actually changing them over. If you are switching providers you will need to aquire new devices. I'm sad to hear that you are wanting to leave Sprint. What's going on? I'm here to help.
Another option to reduce monthly cost without a contract is pre-paid service with Sprint. Visit http://sprint.com/asyougo for more information. To sign up, visit a local company-owned Sprint store in your town.

Thank you for your post. I understand your frustration towards the ETF. Unfortunately, the ETF is based off the last discounted price on a device (upgrade) that you purchased. When was your last upgrade? If it was awhile ago, your ETF will have gone down as it is prorated for your remaining time on your contract. I don't want to see you go but I don't want your last memory of us to be a difficult one.

You would need to purchase a device through Boost first and then activate it on to their network this can be done at a Boost sales office or online through the website:http://www.boostmobile.com/. There is no activation fee to do this.

I would like to know if i can switch my Phone to a prepaid service also because i can not afford the $104 a month i have to pay ,
because my husband is out of work and i'm also out of work due to Surgery and can not return to wk for 6 to 8 weeks .... I know sprint has a prepaid service because i have used it a long time ago
I have been with Sprint almost 10 yrs total ......
Thank you for the post. I completely understand wanting to cut down on expenses when you are in a bind. We can help you move your number to our prepaid service but, unfortunately, the phones you currently have will not work on the prepaid system. There are 5 phones that we offer for the prepaid service. I would like to look over your account to see what would be the best option for you if you wouldn't mind. If you could PM me your number and PIN or Security Question/Answer, I will look to see what we can do for you.

went to a boost store and was told the same thing..it can be done, sprint has priced me out of their company and this was the last monthly payment as both my phones are now out of a contract with Sprint. Long time customer with Sprint and was hoping to see a situation with the economy being as it is, where one's dedication to a company over the years would mean something...not just we understand as they slam the door on you as you walk out. Like a bad marriage and the kids (phones) are held hostage. Paying 2k over the last year for 2 phones... well it will not happen this year for sure. I made sure my contracts were up so Sprint would not have the opportunity to abuse my credit. Good bye!
