I'm holding back the tears after my 4th call to Sprint in 4 months. Each month, trying to lower my bill and cannot.
I am having to pay for 1500 minutes, of which we use less than 500 minutes, simply because I text more than 300
texts a month. I'm paying $140/month for 1500 minutes and three phones. I keep calling, thinking that there will
be an "in between" plan, but there isn't. This time when I called, I was told that I could go down to 700 minutes
and save a whopping $30/month IF i texted under 300 texts a month. The next level up? 1000 texts a month!!
Sprint, I ask you, why not have incremental choices, like 300 texts, 500 texts, 700 texts, THEN 1000...instead of only
have two choices: 300 or 1000? And, why not have incremental choices for minutes that include unlimited texting,
like 500 minutes, 700 minutes, 1000 minutes, THEN 1500 minutes...instead of ONLY offering 1500 minutes if
I want the unlimited texts? It just doesn't make sense to me. Can anyone else see this or am I the only one?
It makes no sense to me at all. And, of course, I"m STUCK until February of 2014!!
In a time where more and more options are available through so many more mobile companies, you would think
that a "leader" in the business, like Sprint, would want to be a Trailblazer and offer more plans that would allow
their customers to LIKE being with Sprint, and to want to STAY with Sprint, rather than counting the months
until they can switch to someone else.
Hey SprintDissapointment, I understand wanting to find the best deal for you and the users on your account can be frustrating. At this time we have multiple price plan packages and add-ons available to our disposal which it looks that agents went over a number of different options with you in attempting to save you money but we haven't meet your demands yet. At this time we don't have any other available packages or have any upcoming dates in new packages/add-ons. Are you aware with the 300 text package its $5.00 per line and with the 1000 text package its $10.00 which you have the ability of mixing and/or leaving a line without it if there is a user not texting? How many lines are on your account and how many would need texting? Have you already accepted the new package that saved you $30.00?

Minutes don't matter. Once unlimited came out years ago the bottom dropped out and it's about whatever features the carriers can hold onto for revenue now -- text/data. It's the entire value of the package that the big 3 carriers are selling.
Verizon is $100/month for 3 lines and pay per text message (they offer $10/1000 txts but offer no 300 txt package). Or $140/month for unl text.
ATT is $90/month for unl txt (with their 550 minute plan and $30 family text).
If you reconfigure your Sprint plan to the $69.99 700 talk plan(2 lines) + $10 for 3rd add a line= $80..then add whatever $5 300 text packages you need. At least do that now and start saving.
If you are confused by the various plans and services mentioned, I can contact you and clarify them for you. Send me a private message with your Sprint phone number, account PIN or the answer to your security question, a link to this thread, and the best time to reach you.
