Just got my new Samsung Moment and activated it...everything works but voicemail. Was on the phone with a nice lady in tech support and we reset, and deactivated and all that and it still says invalid mailbox number. She says i have to get a new phone sent to me, will this really work or is it an issue with all the moments? I love the phone and i don't want to wait...any ideas?
This may sound stupid, but did you call your voicemail or use the voicemail app? The only way I was able to setup my voicemail was to call my number. If you use the voicemail app (visual voice mail), it will not work until you setup your voicemail.
That 'new' phone that is being sent to you could be a 'refurbished' phone.
I have tried calling from outside source and that has not worked either. Sadly nothing has worked and it is very bothersome. What is the point of tech support if they can't fix something? It is a brand new phone, and like you said above the replacement might be refurbished, i don't want to pay the outrageous money i paid for this phone for a refurbished one.
