"Your account has been hotlined"

Can someone please explain to me what this means? I am trying to add wireless backup to my son's phone, but I get a message that states "Your purchase request can not be completed at this point because your account has been hotlined."


My account is current, and always has been. I have a sprint customer for more than 10 years, and have 5 phones on my account. I had a block on his phone to prevent web purchases which I disabled through the web site and confirmed that it has been disabled. I have never received this error, even when trying to purchase the wireless backup with the block still on.
