After deactivating my phone, when I login to my account my account number is displayed at the top right of the page and I see my account overview with total charges, total payments, and amount due. But if I click any of the links to view my bill or make a payment, I get sent to an error page saying: "We take your account security seriously. To ensure that your information remains secure, you'll need to update your profile before you can view these details. To do so, go to My preferences > All about my account > My account info and click Update or add another account." ... Of course, this location does not exist anywhere on the website. There is an "All about me" section on "My Preferences" but it doesn't have "My account info". I tried pulling down the menu where my account number is displayed, clicking "Update my profile", and changing my password, but I still get this error message. ... The security authentication on sprint.com is messed up.
The worst thing is, when I left my acct and joined my sister's for a better rate they took my old acct and automatically enrolled me with paperless billing. Alas, no way to pay my bill online AND no paper bill. Personally, I think it is a scam Sprint is running, in the name of "security," so they can keep tacking on late fees because you can't find a way to pay your bill in time.
Only difference between you and me, *2 still works on my phone and the number is still recognizable by Sprint...even though I can't access the acct any more because my sister has to call Sprint to authorize me to be able to talk to them...and need her pin...and there has to be a full lunar eclipse during the winter solstace while Boise State plays in the National Championship game. That tough is all I am saying.
