can someone PLEASE explain to me just why in the **** Sprint's HotSpot feature is acting up on my Epic 4G?
I'm getting the same "Error 67" message that EVO users have been getting (but that's when it's in tethered mode)
when it's NOT in tethered mode, I can connect my laptop to it, but the connection is "Local Only", NOT "Local and Internet"
anyone know why this connection is like this?
this is really starting to grind my gears and I don't like it at all!
I pay $10 extra a month for 4G and the features it has, I'd like for it to work!
Error 67 indicates that you do not have your account provisioned to use the Hot Spot feature. There is a plan add-on that is required to activate the Hot Spot.

To add the Hot Spot feature to your account, just visit My Sprint then click Change My Services.
I apologize for your frustration. To use the Hotspot function on Sprint devices, there is a 29.99 charge for that service. You can call 888-211-4727 to have that feature added. This is unlimited data usage for that price. The 10.00 is for the rich data experience that can be utilized, and for the unlimited data using the 3g/4g. I know its kind of confusing, but that is why you are getting the error 67 when trying to use the hotspot.

False advertising. I pay for ONE stream of data. UNLIMITED according to the advertised rate. What I decide to do with that data once it reaches my phone is MY BUSINESS. If you charge me 29.99 for the SAME DATA, then you are DOUBLE CHARGING.
I bought this expensive new phone that advertises this function, only to have the bate and switch pulled on me.
