LG Optimus S screen is frozen

I've had my phone for almost 2 months and this is the first time I've ever had a real problem with it. My phone comes on and charges, but I can't touch anything. The phone does absoloutely nothing when I hit a button. I've had an issue with the touch screen doing the same thing on a different phone too.The phone isn't damaged at all. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what did you do?

    If your phone is frozen:

    1. Turn the power off. If your LG Optimus T is frozen, pull the battery out and reinsert it
    2. Hold the Home and Volume Down button
    3. Press and hold the Power button until the device turns on
    4. Follow the on-screen instructions to reboot your device
    5. The “Menu” button is the select button.

Be careful to do "fast reboot" or "reboot" - Do not select "reset" as that will erase all of your info.
