I just swith from At&t last week to sprint. As of right now the only thing I like about Sprint is the price plan. On At&t I had 5 phones on my plan and 3 were iphones. My bill was close to $400 every month. At sprint I have 3 Lg Optimus' and the bill (prorated) plus a month is $240. Sprint does have signal where At&t doesn't but it is slower. I really miss my iphone!!! Does anyone know if Sprint will get the iphone soon or if there is a way I can use my iphone with Sprint now?
Hey, 5773dawn, we appreciate you posting on our forum. Thanks for being part of the Sprint family =) . Our forums get a lot of "action" from our customers in regards to the iphone as it is a hot topic. Rumors swirl and the gossip spreads, but the truth is we just can't speculate on devices we may or may not be getting. To be the first to know of any official announcement Sprint has to offer, check out www.sprint.com/newsroom along with www.sprint.com/comingsoon . Sprint did announce the Motorola Photon which looks incredible! ...and of course, the EVO 3D will be dropping 6/24! For more on those two particular devices check out www.sprint.com/evo3d and www.sprint.com/photon !
Yes it is on the way sept/oct release date hold on it's coming! If you want daily updates go to google alerts & set up a daily alert for the latest on the Sprint iphone
You can't use your iphone with Sprint, since Att iphone works on a GSM network and Sprint's network is CDMA, it just can't happen. As for a Sprint iPhone, it definetly looks like its coming soon (2-3 months from now).
To be fair, if you want to compare Att's best phone, then you need to compare it to Sprints best one as well. I personally belive the HTC Evo is one of the best for Sprint. Here's a link to compare the optimus S to the evo. http://www.pcmag.com/products/compare/1713?aid=256648,251010
