Most devices have multiple ways to complete what is known as a 'hard reset' or a ‘Factory data reset’ reset on them.  This erases tall of the data and setting that have been changes since the device was first used.

Below is a list of how to complete this process using only the hardware keys on the phone.  This reset is typically used for instances such as when you lock yourself out of your phone or if your phone is having issues locking up making the internal menus inaccessible.

***PLEASE NOTE: COMPLETING THIS PROCESS WILL DELETE ALL INFORMATION FROM YOUR PHONE***
