I got a message today that my trial of visual moicemail-to-text will end shortly (2 days according to subject line) and i will start being billed for it. I never approved this service and want to disable it. a phone call to support says it is done on the device and they can't disable it. When I go into the settings (HTC EVO) i get the option to start a trial of the premium sevice there is no option to end this. How do I stop this?
I am having that same issue with samsung galaxy sII, when I go into menu settings > manage subcription it only says cancel or upgrade, I tried doing the *38 function thatit tells you to do under troubleshoot menu and it just hangs up on me as soon as I press talk. I want to just use my regular "press 1" voicemail. please let me know how to remove this service since I never approved it and WILL NOT pay for this horrible service.
I'm having same problem. My wife and I HATE visual voicemail. Sprint rep said it just came with phone and you can't remove it. The easiest way around it is to not use the voicemail icon on the dial pad and instead just press 1 and Talk (green phone icon on Samsung Galaxy SIII). Works fine, and you're back to the old voicemail.
Let me know if this works!

You cannot turn it off. and sprint told me they cannot remove it because it's a 3rd party app from Google. They also kept referring to the end user agreement that by my acceptance I allow3 3rd party applications to place software on my phone. I finally wound up at tech support and he told me that the only way to remove this annoying popup is to "root" the phone and remove the embedded application.
I was on the phone with Sprint for 3 hours last week to find this out.
