I want to close my account and port my number to another carrier
After 14 years with sprint I see the need to leave in order to get a fair price for the services I am desiring. Really I only need talk and text, but to get a sufficient plan to satisfy this need would cost me more to stay, than to go to another carrier and receive "everything" for $50 a month. My contract ends 2/20/13 and my billing cycle ends on the 6th of march. How do I go about cancelling my account to not be charged for an additional month after the February billing cycle? Thank you

Im sorry to hear you want to port out and leave Sprint. I would love to see what we can do to keep you. But if you are dead set on porting out your nunmber you would need to speak with the service provider you choose to go with. If you want to keep it within a specific time frame set up the port within the dates you need it done by. When a number gets ported its all done by the other service provider that will be getting the number.
