That is a great question. Depends on what phone and insurance you are referring to. If you are referring to your Total Equipment Protection package, it will not void the insurance when going from line to line. It will transfer with the phone just fine. If this is an iPhone and you have Apple care, the insurance will transfer with the device, you would just have to go through Apple to change it over. Let me know if you have any other questions.
