I bought a phone charger at the Sprint store location: 1204 Saint Nicholas Avenue, New York, NY 10032. When I got home with the charger, I plugged it in and it didn't work. It was then that I realized the clerk hadn't given me a receipt. I went back the store a couple of hours later to exchange the charger. The clerk looked at the charger for about 1 second, and said "This is not the charger we gave you." He pointed to the speck of dust around the micro usb and to the tag that was cut on the cord. I hadn't paid attention to the condition of the charger when I left the store. I had no idea what he was talking about!! Basically, he and the other clerk accused me of bringing in a different charger to exchange for a new one. All I want is a charger that works! It was then that I realized that the clerk had given me change out of his pocket when I bought the charger and didn't give me a receipt, which leads me to believe they ran a scam on me. I am irate.
Has anyone else had this experience??
