Sprint is waiving the early termination fee as they stop my discounts
I was one of those who has more than 2 lines, and now Sprint will not allow my corporate discount to apply to the extra lines. I called the customer retention dept and asked if they could give me a one time adjustment or equip credit to offset the fact that they we raising my bill by $300 a year. They were very polite and took my information, and after some hold time, came back and said they were working on something, and they would call me back. They did call back, and stated that Sprint would waive the early termination fee for 5 of my 7 phones, good for the next 60 days. They would not waive the fee for the first 2 lines, as I am still getting the discount.
Nice, after over 10 years with 5-7 lines, good bye, thanks for coming, good bye.
Just wanted to share in case anyone is getting the increase and wants to get out of paying the early termination fee.
