Who else has been charged for early termination after being told by customer service that they would not be charged?
I was 1 month from my termination date and was working in an area that Sprint has no reception in and was told by Sprints customer service that I could terminate early and change to a phone company that actually services the area that I am in (VERIZON). After doing so, they charged me anyway and even though they have the conversation on tape are unwilling to reverse the charge. Going to be talking to my attorney in the morning. If anyone else has had this problem or has been charged for Sprint to Sprint calls when their phone was in roam let me know. My paperwork from years ago doesn't say anything about being charged towards your minutes on Sprint to Sprint calls in roam and was never told that by the Sprint store that sold me the package.
