Why does sprint want to lose customers

I'e talked to Sprint a few times today to try and resolve my issue and they keep saying even if I make a payment today they will shut off my phone I know I was late and explained it to them they say I missed a arraignment even though I called them to explain before I missed it. I owe for Nov and Dec and can pay Nov bill but I can't pay Dec bill until the 29. Ever other time I made a arraignment I called it in before they computer took out the payment so I guess that counts against me. So I see it as Sprint wants to lose their customers.
