Android Police recently reported that according to sources from Samsung and Nieuwe Mobiel, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be Google Daydream ready out of the box. No waiting for an update, as was required with the Galaxy S8 / S8+.
"According to a Samsung spokesperson who talked to NieuweMobiel, Daydream support will be enabled out of the box for the Note8 so you won't have to wait months for any software update to let you slip that shiny phone into your Daydream headset and turn it into a window for VR content..."
As some of you may know from a previous post, I was pretty excited to try out my Galaxy S8+ in my Google Daydream. Hopefully I will be publishing an update on how well the Note 8 does in my Daydream VR headset soon.
Are there any VR fans out there and ready to try out a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 in their favorite VR headset?
I'll catch you all virtually online,
