LG Stylo 4 - More Than a Finger Printer Reader

The LG Stylo 4 is equipped with the standard fingerprint sensor. If you have not yet set up the sensor in the initial startup of the phone navigate to Under settings - general tab - Lock screen & security - under biometrics select Fingerprints. Here simply follow the steps to add you finger(s) to the phone for recognition. Once added you will then be able to utilize the additional features built into the sensor itself.

LG added new shortcuts tied directly to the sensor. Users can now take a selfie while in camera mode, take a screen shot, and view the notification panel. These three options in order to use them must be activated. To enable them navigate in Settings - Under General tab - Under Extension select Shortcut Keys. Here you will see 3 radials not enabled under the Fingerprint sensor section. Simple activate the feature and you will now be able to utilize these neat and handy keys.

When in the camera app and setup on the front facing camera simply touch the sensor and a picture will be taken it is that easy.  To take a screen shot double tap the sensor but hold the second tap for a few seconds and a snapshot will be taken. Finally, to access the notification panel simply flick down on the sensor and the notification panel will open. To close simply flick up on the sensor.

The Product Ambassadors are Sprint employees from many different parts of the company that love technology. They volunteer to test out all sorts of Sprint devices and offer opinions freely to the Community. Each Product Ambassador shares their own opinions of these devices, therefore the information in this post does not necessarily reflect the opinions of Sprint. The PA's do not represent the company in an official way, and should not be expected to respond to Community members in an official capacity. #sprintemployee
